Angelina Fleming

ANGELINA FLEMING, 77, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Saturday, August 9, at the Van Dyke Hospice in Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. Fleming was born in Scotland. When she came to the United States in 1955, she lived in Brooklyn, NY, then Staten Island, NY before moving to Whiting in 1996. She was a Group Home Supervisor for the Mission of the Immaculate Virgin, Mt. Loretto, Staten Island, NY for 20 years, retiring in 1995. She was a pianist and studied for six years at the London Conservatory of Music. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Richard, in 1999. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Joe Reed of Keansburg; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kerry and Karen Fleming of Gaithersburg, MD, formerly of Cheshire, CT for over 15 years, Gordon and Renee Fleming of North Carolina and Sean and Heather Fleming of Old Bridge; five granddaughters, Casey Reed, Shana Reed, Kelly-Siobhan Reed, Kayla Fleming and Raelin Fleming and four grandsons, Kristopher Fleming, Rory Fleming, Dylan Fleming and Liam Fleming. Relatives and friends may call Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will be offered at 12 noon, Tuesday in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
