Anne G. LaChaussee, 81, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 with her family by her side. Mrs. LaChaussee was born in Orange. She lived overseas and in Bayville before moving to Whiting in 1986. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She loved to travel, especially with her family on their annual trip to the Hale Koa Hotel in Hawaii. She relished her time spent supporting her husband's service in the military, including his stations overseas. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Robert on April 24, 2009 and two brothers, William Gardner and Wendell Gardner. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Robert and Marieann LaChaussee, Charles and Gina LaChaussee and Nancy and Kevin McIntyre; one sister, Chrystal Hall; one brother, Alfred Gardner and four grandchildren, Erin, Kevin, Robert and Sean. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered, on Saturday, May 2nd, at 11 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Van Dyke Hospice, 99 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755-6423. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting, NJ.
