Dorothy "Dot" Lynch

Dorothy F. Lynch, 83, of Whiting, passed away Friday, July 24, 2009 at Crestwood Manor Health Care Center. Born in New York City, NY, she lived in Middletown, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1980. Dorothy worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Thomas A. McManus, D.D.S. in Red Bank for 8 years. She was a Representative of Crestwood Village I and a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 8745, Whiting. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and was a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society, Lazarus Ministry and Choir. She was a Secular Franciscan 3rd Order. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis in 1991 and her daughter, Susan P. Lynch in 2004. She is survived by one niece, Gloria Innes of Whiting and four great-nieces, Doreen Romanawski, Dawn DeMorato, Darlene Turner and Deanna Brutnell. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Litury will follow at 11 a.m. in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, mass cards will be appreciated.
