Elizabeth Haas

Elizabeth C. Haas, 96, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Crestwood Manor Healthcare Center in Whiting. Born in Germany and came to the United States in 1954. She lived in North Brunswick before moving to Whiting in 1991. She was a member of the Aurora Singing Society in New Brunswick. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church's Choir and Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband, John in 1974. She is survived by three sisters, Barbel, Gretchen and Anne, all of Germany; one step-son, John N. Haas of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren; one cousin, Eugene Heisler of Colonia and one nephew, Mathew Heisler. Relatives and friends may call from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, October 27,2009 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Interment will be at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.
