Elizabeth "Betty" Wilder

Elizabeth "Betty" Wilder nee Murphy, 86, of Toms River, formerly of Whiting and Englewood, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Magnolia Gardens in Toms River. Mrs. Wilder was born and raised in New York City. She was a US Navy veteran of World War II. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest "Ernie" in 1998, four brothers, Daniel, James, John and William and one sister, Mary. She is survived by two sons, Stephen of Canton, CT and Paul of Washingtonville, NY and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Monday at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10 a.m., in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow in Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.
