Helen Lorraine Foley, 82, of Whiting, passed away Monday, August 17, 2009, at Whiting Health Care Center in Whiting. Mrs. Foley was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Whiting in 1987. She was a bank teller at Citi Bank, Brooklyn, NY for 16 years, retiring in 1965. She was a member of the Ping Pong Club of Crestwood Village V. She was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and was also a member of the church's Adoration Society and Helping Hands. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Danner in 1933 and Edward Danner in 2007 and one sister, Josephine McLaughlin in 2004. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard; one sister, Joan Dowd of Toms River and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10 a.m., Saturday at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
