Helen M. Gibson, of Whiting, passed away on Saturday, July 25th at The Pines of Whiting. Born and raised in New York City, she moved to Whiting in 1997. Ms. Gibson was a Legislative Analyst for the City of Los Angeles, CA for 26 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Whiting, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild; she was a Bingo worker for Village VI, a member of the Ceramic Club of Village IV, and a Volunteer for C.A.R.E.S. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Green of Whiting and two nephews, Roger & David Green. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, August 2, from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm, at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting with the Funeral Service at 2:30 pm in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Helen's memory be made to the Holisticare Hospice, 1415 Hooper Ave., Suite 203, Toms River, NJ 08753
