IRENE WATSON, 84, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Whiting Healthcare Center. Mrs. Watson was born in Trenton and lived in Groveville before moving to Whiting in 1985. She worked at the State House in Trenton until she retired. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, John A. Watson, Sr. in 1989. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John, III and Mary Watson of Burlington Township, a brother-in-law, Charles Horn of Kissimmee, FL; a sister-in-law, Lillian Juniak of Trenton, a grandson, John Watson, IV of Germantown, MD, several nieces and nephews; a special nephew, Dennis Horn of Kissimmee, FL and a special friend, Betty Anne Briggs of Levittown, PA. Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
