John J. Kilduff, 75, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in New York, NY. Born in New York City, he lived in Closter, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2004. John was a teacher for the New York City Board of Education for 34 years, retiring in 1991. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. He was predeceased by his son, Douglas in 2007 and his sister, Theresa Argenti in 2005. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Anne Kilduff of Closter, NJ; one brother, Thomas Kilduff of Pennsylvania; one sister, Peggy Murphy of Spring Lake, NJ and four grandchildren, Jessica, Steven, John and Michael. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29th and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 30th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m., at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
