Margaret Reid

Margaret Rita Reid, 91, of Whiting, passed away on Friday, January 2, at Van Dyke Hospice at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Pawtucket, RI, and resided in Newark and Belford, before moving to Whiting in 1987. She was a member of the Irish-American Club of Whiting. Margaret was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Margaret was predeceased by the love her life, David, and 3 children Beverly Ens, Georgia Brooks, and Thomas Reid. She is survived by her sons David and his wife Janet, Archie and his wife Camille, and Joseph and a son-in-law John Ens; daughters: Rita D'Espies and her husband Ron, Ella Yessman, Mary June Reid, and Patricia Stiuso and her husband Michael, 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm on Tuesday, January 6, and from 10 to 10:45am, on January 7th, at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A mass celebrating her life will follow at 11am in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
