MARIO L. FAILLA, 83, of Whiting, Manchester Twp, passed away on Sunday, April 6, at home. Born and raised in Queens, NY. He resided in Bayside Queens, before moving to Whiting in 1980. He worked for the City of New York and was a painter at Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson. Mario was a veteran of the US Army, during World War II. He was communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Mario is survived by his loving wife Evelyn, three daughters, Noella Zeigler, Margarite Pawlowski, and Susan Pecunia; two sons, Dr. Mark Failla, and Paul Failla; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 11, from 1-3pm, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Senior Group Christ Lutheran Church 40 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting, NJ 08759.
