Mary Buonocore

Mary D. Buonocore, 88, of Whiting, passed away on Saturday, June 5th at Crestwood Manor Healthcare Center, Whiting. Born in Hoboken, and resided in North Bergen, before moving to Whiting in 1981. Mary worked as a clerk for the North Bergen Tax Office. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Antonio, in 1985. She is survived by her two sons Richard and his wife, Patricia and Robert; one brother George Scala; a sister Gloria Vigliani; two grandchildren, Jennifer Iucolino and Jason Buonocore and one great-grandchild, Francesca Iucolino. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m., on Tuesday, June 8th, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will follow at 11 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Burial will be at Whiting Memorial Park. For further information and condolences, go to manchestermemorial.net
