MARY SHIRLEY LUKACS, 72, of Crestwood Village I, Whiting, MANCHESTER, died Monday, December 24, at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in South River, NJ resided in Somerset, NJ and Belfast, ME. Mary was a good and faithful servant of God. She was a daily communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting, NJ. Mary was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. She belonged to the Lioness Club, the Hungarian Club, and the Rosary Altar Society of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She enjoyed quilting and cooking. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Elmer. She is survived by her children, Mary Beth Francis and her husband Bill, Judith Wheatley and her husband Carl, Barbara Smith and her husband Michael, Michael and his wife Rosalie, and Susan Dean and her husband Michael; grandchildren Lucas, Bradley, Courtney, Susan, Paul, Mara, Ally, Peter, Julia, William, Lexi, and Patrick; cousins Dorothy Canonico, Lori Grobelny, and Madeline Luff. A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, December 28, at 12:00pm, at All Saints Chapel at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting, NJ. A memorial service to be held in the spring at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Belfast, ME. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Relief Services P.O.
