Patricia J. Turley, 74, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Shorrock Gardens Care Center in Brick. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Rahway before moving to Whiting in 2001. Patricia was a secretary at Elizabeth General Hospital for 40 years. She was a volunteer for Somebody C.A.R.E.S., Inc., Whiting and worked at Crestwood Village 4 Clubhouse. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Patricia was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Flynn and her sister, Marion Flynn. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard; two sons, Peter of Brick and Timothy of Rahway; four grandchildren, Jason, Jesse, Dan and Conor and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, September 3rd at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, September 4th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Inurnment will be Monday, September 9th at 3 p.m. at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
