Peter John Treubig, 48, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River. Mr. Treubig was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived there until moving to Whiting. He was a graduate of Pratt Institute. He is survived by his parents, Morris and Helen Treubig of Whiting; one brother, George of Whiting; his former spouse, Yvette and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, with prayers in the funeral home, followed by interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. Donations, in his memory, may be made to the Van Dyke Hospice, 99 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755-6423 or the American Cancer Society, 1035 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753.
