Robert I. McNie, 74, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Friday, September 26, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Mr. McNie was born in East Orange, raised in Kearny and lived in Parsippany before moving to Whiting in 1999. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruth; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert C. McNie and Paulette A. Condon and Craig D. and Cynthia McNie; one brother and sister-in-law, Douglas D. and Martha McNie; one niece, Tracey McNie and one nephew, Keith McNie. Interment will be on Friday, October 3, at 10am, at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
