John "Jake" G. King, 61, of Whiting, NJ, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at home. He was born and raised in Staten Island, NY and lived in Lakewood, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2004. Jake was a paint sprayer for S.S. White Dental Equipment Manufacturing, Staten Island, NY. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; two sons, John G., Jr. and his wife, Erin of Toms River, NJ and Joseph of Whiting, NJ; four brothers, Frankie of Florida, Joseph of Cream Ridge, NJ, Kevin of Staten Island, NY and Tommy of South Amboy, NJ; one sister, Maureen Schmock of Florida and one grandchild. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 14, with a funeral service at 8:30 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
