Virginia Moore

Virigina A. Moore, 86, of Crestwood Village V, Whiting, Manchester, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. Moore was born in Arlington, NJ and lived in Allendale, North Arlington and Lyndhurst before moving to Whiting in 1978. She was controller/ assistant secretary treasurer for Frederick Gummo Chemical Company, Kearny, NJ for 36 years, retiring in 1976. She was a graduate of Seton Hall University, South Orange and received her Masters of Business Administration. She was a member of the Residents Club and Women's Club of Crestwood Village V. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth D., in 1985, two brothers, William and Bert Russo and two sisters, Anna Cerullo and Rosemary Russo. She is survived by one niece, Marie Colino of Florida; one nephew, John Cerullo of Clifton and several great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Friday at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 12 noon in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Whiting Memorial Park.
