Alice E. Hagetter, 87, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Whiting, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011. Born in Newark, she lived in Garwood and Westfield before moving to Whiting in 1989. She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Alice was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Charles L. Hagetter in 1998. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Jones of Tucson, AZ; six brothers, Wilfred Bataille, John Bataille, Edwin Bataille, Robert Bataille, Richard Bataille and Thomas Bataille; two sisters, Marilyn Panette and Nancy DeFranco; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Monday, December 12th, at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Burial will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
