Alice Silva, 95, of Whiting, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at Whiting Healthcare Center. Born in Pittsfield, MA, she lived in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1981. Alice was a secretary at Mountainside Hospital in Verona. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe in 2011 and her brother, Mario Costa in 2010. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Kathleen Silva of Pt. Pleasant Beach; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron Cremation Associates, Inc., Whiting, NJ.
