Angela C. Scalera, 99, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, June 09, 2018 at Whiting Healthcare Center. Born and raised on Staten Island, NY, she moved to Whiting in 1982. Angela was a registered nurse. She worked at Staten Island Hospital and later, worked for the New York Health Department in Staten Island, NY for 15 years. Angela was predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, Nicholas J. Scalera, Sr. in 2014. She is survived by two children, Nicholas Scalera and Josephine Rampulla; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services and burial are Private.
