Ann Marie T. McCarthy, 73, of Whiting, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River. Ann Marie was born and raised in Bayonne. She moved to Whiting in 1995. She was a buyer for Maidenform in Bayonne. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and volunteered in the church's office for many years. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Piersen; her brother, James McCarthy and a nephew, Brian McCarthy. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Noreen Tarriff, Deirdre Leonard, Tara Youngclaus and Sean Piersen and nine great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 9 a.m., Friday, April 1, at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
