Annette Marie DeCaito, 67, of Whiting passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026.

Annette grew up in Montclair, New Jersey, and later made her home in Nutley, New Jersey before moving to Whiting, New Jersey 10 years ago. She dedicated many years of her life working as a cashier at ShopRite in Nutley, where she was known for her kindness and friendly smile before enjoying her retirement.

In her free time, Annette found joy in cooking for her loved ones and was a devoted, lifelong fan of the Mets and the Giants. Above all, she cherished her family deeply.

Annette was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter, Daniella. She is survived by her lifelong partner of 45 years, Robert; her loving daughter, Priscilla; her daughter-in-law, Courtney; and her cherished granddaughter, Brynley, who brought her immense pride, joy and happiness.

Annette will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
