Arlene A. Feindt, 79, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Scottsdale, AZ. Born in East Orange, she lived in West Caldwell before moving to Whiting 18 years ago. She was a bookkeeper for Santini Van Lines. Arlene was a member of the Board of Trustees of Whiting Station and a volunteer for the Whiting First Aid Auxiliary. She was a communicant of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Arlene was predeceased by her husband, Louis in 1999, three children, James Donald Feindt, Elizabeth Garlette and Traci Feindt. She is survived by two children and their spouses, Michael and Dawn Feindt of Jackson, NJ and Corrine and Gary Summerville of Caldwell, NJ; two brothers, Frank Downey, Jr. and John Downey; two sisters, Alice Zilinski and Carol Tortorici; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 12th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Friday, Dec. 13th at 9 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
