Barbara McConnon, 83, passed away on June 19, 2025. Barbara was born on November 11, 1941, in Irvington, NJ, to her parents, Henry and Irene Schaefer.

She grew up in Irvington, NJ, and later moved to Newark, New Providence, and Short Hills. While living in Short Hills, she worked as a secretary at the Budd Larner and Association law firm for twenty-five years before retiring in 2007. A couple of years after retirement, Barbara had settled in Whiting, NJ.

Barbara is predeceased by her son, Patrick McConnon. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Gaudreau and Maureen Conroy; her grandchildren, Nicole Jacobs and her husband, Brian, Taylor Gaudreau-Diller and her husband, Chad, Tara Conroy-Wambold and her husband, Jennifer Conroy, and Patrick Conroy; six great-grandchildren; and one grandbaby on the way.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
