Barbara L. Rathburn, 101, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Spring Oak Assisted Living in Lanoka Harbor. Born in Williamsport, PA, she lived in Elizabeth and Whiting before moving to Lanoka Harbor in 2005. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society. She was a former member of the Women's Club and Resident's Club of Crestwood Village III. She also volunteered for Somebody C.A.R.E.S., Inc. in Whiting. She is survived by several cousins. A Memorial Mass will be offered Saturday, Oct. 13 at 10::45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Inurnment will follow at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
