Bertil R. Hoglund, 94, of Manchester passed away on February 27, 2025 at home. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Wayne before settling in Whiting in 2005.

A Navy veteran, he was a bus operator for NJ Transit for 47 years before retiring.

He was predeceased by his wife Jean, who he was married to for sixty-eight years. He is survived by his daughter Enid and her husband James Treuvey; his sons Carl and his wife Denise, and David and his wife Connie; his grandchildren. Kristopher Hoglund and his wife Megan, Timothy Hoglund, Michael Hoglund and his wife Ashley, Jason Hoglund, Paul Echeverria, Jonathan Echeverria, and Kristen Monahan and her husband Peter; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were private under the care of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
