Bessie H. Service, 99, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Manchester Manor Rehabilitation Center. Born in Milton, MA, she lived in Cranbury, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1999. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cranbury. Bessie was predeceased by her husband, Roy and her daughter, Jane Steepy. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Service of Whiting; one sister, Primrose Bates of Naples, FL and two granddaughters, Kirsten Widener and Tracy Steepy.
