Bridget Ann Shevlin, 40, of Forked River passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Lakewood. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she grew up in Staten Island and Jackson before settling in Forked River.Bridget enjoyed dancing and musiceverything from Doo-Wop to Hip-Hop. She was devoted to her family, and was crazy about her friends.She was predeceased by her brother, Peter Shevlin, in 2018, and by her step-mother, Barbara Fiore in 2015. She is survived by her mother, Eileen Gorgia; her father, Peter Shevlin; her Auntie Marilyn and Uncle Ed; and Her Uncle Tom and Aunt Theresa; her cousins, Tom Jr. and his wife Megan and Christopher and his wife Elenia; and her boyfriend, Dave Maffia.Viewing will be Saturday from 1pm to 4:30pm at Forked River Funeral and Cremation Service, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River. Funeral Service will be held at 4:30pm. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the NJ Sharing Network would be appreciated.
