Catherine M. Gaydosh, 97, of Eastham, MA, formerly of Whiting, NJ, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012. She was born and raised in Yonkers, NY and lived in Whiting, NJ before moving to Massachusetts. Catherine was a secretary for Chase Manhattan Bank, Yonkers, NY for four years. Prior to that, she was a secretary for the Yonkers Board of Education for 11 years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of the Daughters of Scotia, Yonkers, NY and the American Legion Auxiliary, Posts #502 and #1674. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Edward J. Gaydosh in 2002. She is survived by her three children, Robert Gaydosh of North Plainfield, NJ, Peter Gaydosh of Rocky Mount, NC and Catherine Gaydosh of Eastham, MA; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
