Charlotte Becker (nee Schubert), 89, of Whiting, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River. Born in Berlin, Germany, she came to the United States in 1922 and lived most of her life in Weehawken, NJ, moving to Barnegat, NJ in 1965. She lived in Crestwood Village, Whiting, since 1979. She was a member of the Women's Club, the Residents Club and Homeowners Association of Village 5. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, George in 1998. She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Schubert of New Milford, NJ and Margarete Nappi of Charlotte, NC and two nieces. Cremation and burial are private and under the direction of Aaron Cremation Associates, Inc., Whiting.
