Chester D. Huey, 78, of Whiting, passed away on Saturday, September 26th, in Toms River. Born in Roselle, and resided in Roselle Park, before moving to Whiting in 1995. Chester worked for Graybar Electric Company for 35 years, retiring in 1990. He was an Airforce Veteran of the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Whiting. Chester was predeceased by his son Patrick, in 2004. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Ruth of Whiting; two sons, Andrew Huey of Sommerville, NJ and Michael Huey of Lawrenceville, GA; and a daughter in-law, Heather of Jersey City. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, on Wednesday, September 30, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting.
