Christine Hazewski Kelly, 80, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Born on April 3, 1946, in Bayonne, NJ, to the late John and Wanda (Hascilo) Hazewski. She moved to Jersey City, NJ when she got married in 1967 and settled in Brick, NJ in 1988.

She was a graduate of The Academy of St. Aloysius in Jersey City, NJ. At 21 years old, Christine was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a challenge she faced with extraordinary grace and courage for the rest of her life. Despite her health challenges, she never complained and continued to live with resilience, dignity, a positive attitude, and a warm smile. Her strength inspired everyone who knew her.

Christine was deeply connected to her Polish heritage and proudly spoke of her family's Polish Delicatessen in Bayonne, NJ. She loved watching television, making people laugh, playing board games, traveling, and gambling in Atlantic City. She was a devoted dog lover and had a special place in her heart for all animals.

Chirstine was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Kelly Sr.; devoted mother to Thomas Kelly Jr. (Melinda) and Kristine Kelly; a proud Grandma to Jessica, Ryan, Joseph, Kelly, Mark, Ava and Lily and a great grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

In respect of Christine's wishes, she will be privately cremated.
