David Konrad Knutsen 65 of Toms River, NJ/Califon, NJ passed away November 25, 2025 at home of sudden cardiac arrest. He was born in Pt. Pleasant, NJ, in 1960 to Gwendolyn D. Knutsen and Konrad Knutsen.

David was a Graduate of Toms River High School South and Ocean County College before getting a degree in Business Management at Montclair State University and later CHUBB going to work for Bank of New York, later he took a leap into self employment as a Business Consultant for Merck Pharmaceuticals, KPMG and ETS in Princeton, NJ before retiring.

David was preceded in death by both his Grandmothers; Naomi S. Chambers and Bestemor Sofie Knutsen; his Mother Gwendolyn D. Knutsen; his Aunts Evelyn Nesse, Lorraine & Marsha Chambers; his Uncle Randolph D. Chambers, Jr. He is survived by his "deeply loved" son Schuyler Konrad Knutsen; step daughter Maya Nann and her mom Christina B. Katchen; his father, Konrad Knutsen; his sister Melissa Naomi Knutsen; his Uncles Douglas Chambers and Clarence Nesse; his cousins Mark Chambers, Katy Chambers, Jason Chambers, Joyce Farnham, Janet Grell, June Markatos, Robert J. Nesse; and brother in law Peter S. Markatos.

David loved to keep huge stunning exotic tropical fish tanks, he was an avid golfer and his greatest love was as a freshwater & saltwater fisherman. He also studied Photography at Montclair University and was very proficient. He loved his Maine Coon cat, Sofia, who never left his side. David was a lifelong NY Yankee fan and forever a Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved everyone very, very deeply. Know that when you think of him, he loved you all including all his college buddies!
