Miele
August 20, 1970 – July 30, 2024
David Miele, 53, of Monmouth Junction, passed away on July 30th, 2024, at home with his immediate family members by his side. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of South Brunswick, NJ.
He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He is predeceased by his mother, Cathleen Miele, and his mother-in-law, Patricia Rojewski. He is survived by his wife, Karen Miele of Monmouth Junction; his son Nicholas Miele of Monmouth Junction; stepson Michael J Rojewski of South Amboy and his two grandchildren, Michael P Rojewski and Wyatt Rojewski, both of South Amboy. He is also survived by his father, Thomas Miele and stepmother, Maureen Miele, of Killingworth, CT; his siblings, Thomas Miele (Carolyn Miele) of Kendall Park and Noreen Koval (James Koval) of Hillsborough. David is survived by his nieces, Jessica Koval of Hillsborough, Jennifer Koval of Hillsborough and Angela Miele of Kendall Park; his nephew, James Koval of Hillsborough; his aunt, Lou Ann Ciandella of Ridgefield Park; his uncles, Joseph Miele of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Anthony Miele of Hasbrouck Heights; and his cousins. He is also survived by his father-in-law, John Rojewski, and his sister-in-laws, Bonnie Walling (Christopher Bock) of Old Bridge and Rose Rojewski (Christopher Nappi) of South Amboy, and his beloved cat, Donut.
David graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science from Stockton University. In 2006, David married his best friend, Karen Miele. He worked for 29 years at CMC steel mill in Sayreville. He enjoyed spending time with family, reading, doing puzzles and going to the beach.
A Viewing will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 7-9 pm at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852. Mass will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10 am at St Cecilia RC Church, 10 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852. Entombment will immediately follow mass at Holy Cross Burial Park, 840 Cranbury – South River Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08831.
