Deanne J. Butts of Whiting, passed away suddenly on November 25th at home. Known as "Dee" by all who loved her, she was born on March 31, 1959 in Rochester, NY and moved to New Jersey with her family in 1999. Dee was a special education teacher's assistant for many years at the Sister Georgine School, a job that she loved dearly up until her retirement. For the last two and a half years her full time retirement joy was being a Nana. She made every day with her granddaughter the most special. Dee enjoyed gardening, reading, crafting and traveling with her family to many different places, especially Martha's Vineyard. Dee will be missed by all who knew her and loved her for the amazing person she was. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Valerie Clark, she leaves behind Kevin, her husband of 38 years; her two daughters, Crystal (Anthony) Velotti and Danielle Butts; her granddaughter, Audriana Velotti and step-granddaughter, Ava Velotti. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 4th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
