Denise Flora, age 62, of Whiting passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at home. Born in Newark, she lived in Jackson from 1969 until settling in Whiting in 2012. Denise was employed as a Supervisor at Unex Manufacturing, Lakewood, for 35 years. She enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, and loved the beach. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Judith Sibilia and Gerald Racano, she is survived by her children, Lisa Walizer and husband Noel of Waxhaw, NC, Jodi Flora of Lakewood, and Joe Flora and daughter-in-law Adrianne of Bayville; her grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Ryan, Heidi, Joey and Preston; her great-granddaughter, Ella Grace; and her siblings, Lisa DeCicco and her husband Patrick of Sicklerville, Jerry Racano and his wife Virginia of Fort Pierce, FL, and Richard Racano and his wife Kristen of Jackson; and her nieces and nephews, Shawn, Heather, Brianna, Sara, Taylor, and Jeremy, as well as 6 great-nieces and great-nephews Cremation was private under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
