Dennis J. Harker, 74, of Browns Mills, NJ passed away on October 14, 2026 while surrounded by his loved ones. Dennis was born in Neptune, NJ to parents Clinton and Doris Harker. Dennis formerly lived in Parlin before moving to Browns Mills in 2005.

Dennis was first mate on fishing boats in Belmar for 4 years and 3 years in Ft Lauderdale, Fl in his late teens early 20's. Dennis was a truck driver for about 20 years, out of the 20 years he owned and operated his own trucks for 5 years. He found a new career later on in life, as the manager of storage facilities throughout N.J. and was a dedicated employee for twenty-eight years. In the 28 years as storage manager Dennis blessed many customers with encouragement and prayer. Dennis retired in 2025.

Dennis was an active member at his church, the Whiting Assembly of God. In his spare time, he enjoyed the peacefulness of fishing.

Dennis is predeceased by his siblings, Thomas, John, Gary, Eddie, Terry, Richard and Sherri and his granddaughter Cheryl Walters. He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia of 55 years; his children and their spouses April and Joseph Walters of Brick, NJ and Dennis Jr. and Nicole Harker of Toms River, NJ; his eleven grandchildren; his four great grandchildren; his sister Bonnie Santiago and her husband Raymond of South Carolina; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, located at 28 Schoolhouse Road in Whiting, NJ.
