Diane M. Caprario, 62, of Whiting, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at home after fighting a courageous three year battle with Cancer. Born in Miami, FL, she lived in Staten Island, NY before moving to Whiting in 2009. Diane was a children's art teacher. She worked for Art Lab in Staten Island for 12 years and was a self-employed artist. She attended Christ Lutheran Church, Whiting. Diane was predeceased by her father, John McDonnell in 2001. She is survived by her beloved husband, Dean Caprario; her daughter, Elaine Moller of Palestine; her mother, Elaine Jacobsen of Whiting; two brothers, John McDonnell of Upstate, NY and Michael McDonnell of Parlin, NJ; two sisters, Jean McDonnell of Upstate, NY and Patricia McDonnell of Connecticut. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, Sept. 2nd from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
