Dominga DeJesus, 72, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at home. Dominga was born in Nicaragua and lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Whiting 18 years ago. She was a member of the Ocean County Baptist Church in Toms River. Dominga is survived by her husband of 45 years, Esmeraldo DeJesus, Jr.; two children, Evonne Pitts of Bayville, NJ and Matthew DeJesus of Norfolk, VA; one brother, Medardo Zeledon of Nicaragua; one sister, Regina Zeledon of Florida and four grandchildren, Nicholas DeJesus, Madeliene DeJesus, Boden DeJesus and Jonathan Pitts. Relatives and friends are invited to visit, Wednesday, Dec. 19th from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral service will be held at 11:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
