Dominick Cannalonga, 84, passed away in the early morning of May 7, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Dominick was born in Brooklyn, NY to parents Generro Cannalonga and Mary Colamaria. He lived in Iselin, NJ for many years before settling in Whiting, NJ in 2006.

Dominick was briefly employed at ElizabethTown Gas before starting his career as a truck driver and he eventually retired in 2023. Dominick was an avid collector of coins and license plates throughout his life.

Dominick is predeceased by the love of his life, Marie (2025) and his sister Leticia Gottlieb. He is survived by his children, Mary (Sergio) Jacas and Thomas Cannalonga; his granddaughters, Gina Cannalonga, Nicole Lopez and Rachel Smith; and his great-grandchildren, Malani Lopez, Josiah Lopez, Mila Lopez, and Ashton Smith.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm as well as on Saturday, May 16 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, located at 28 Schoolhouse Road.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10:00 am at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Whiting Memorial Park & Mausoleum at 10:45 am in Whiting, New Jersey.
