Dominick A. Sudano, 92, of Whiting, passed away on Sunday, February 21st, at Whiting Health Care. Born in New York and resided in Brooklyn and Wantagh, NY, before moving to Whiting in 1983. Dominick was the owner of Paragon Carting, Inc of Brooklyn and Wantagh, NY for 40 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 1st Infantry Division and was awarded the Silver Star. He was a member of VFW Post 8745, Whiting; the Old Guard #23, and the 1st Infantry Division. Dominick was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Dominick was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marie in 2008, brothers Charles and Louis Sudano. He is survived by a son Nicholas and his wife Susan of Staten Island, NY; sister Marie La Falce of Garden City, NY, and two grandchildren, Michael and Christina. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 24th and 10 to 10:45 a.m., Thursday, February 25th, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
