Donald Nadeau, 87, of Whiting, NJ, peacefully passed away in the early morning of July 27, 2026. Donald was born and raised in Newark by his parents, Romeo and Louella Nadeau. He moved to Hazlet, NJ before deciding to reside in Manchester, NJ in 1969. 



Donald proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force between 1957 and 1961. After serving in the military, Donald began a successful career in sales with Level Line Building Products in Lakewood, until his retirement. Shortly after retiring, Donald's positive work ethic drove him to accept a new job at Nade Auto Auction in Bordentown. Donald enjoyed spreading Christmas cheer by dressing up as Santa Claus for children and hospitals in the community. He enjoyed being involved with the Whiting community and belonged to a variety of organizations. Donald was an active volunteer at the Whiting First Aid Squad in the 80s-90s as well as the Lakehurst-Manchester Soccer Association. In his spare time, you would find Donald tasting beers across the country as a proud Charter Member of Beer Drinkers of America, as well as cheering on the Giants, Mets, his grandchildren and great grandchildren's accomplishments.

Donald is predeceased by his loving wife of 38 years Mary Ann (1999). He is survived by his daughter Bernadette Mangione of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; his grandchildren and their spouses, Antonio and Holley Clarelli of Calabash, NC and Teresa Clarelli and Michael Rutherford of Bayville, NJ; and his great-grandchildren, Mayson and Ryland. 



A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, located at 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting, NJ. A funeral service will be held immediately following the memorial service.
