Dorothy Catherine Hopkins, 88, of Whiting, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at Crestwood Manor in Whting. Born in Englewood, NJ she lived in Teaneck and Clark before moving to Whiting six years ago. Dorothy was a Para Legal with Klienberg, Maroney, Masterson & Schachter in Union, NJ for many years. She enjoyed her rose garden, cooking and bowling. Dorothy was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and Holy Eucharist Church, Tabernacle. She was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, John Hopkins; her son, Jack and his son, Brian; her son Stephen and his wife, Sandy and their children, Katie, Kevin and Sean. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 20th from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will followed at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. No gifts necessary, your kind thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
