Dorothy M. Kobylus, 86, of Cedar Glen Lakes, Whiting, passed into eternal life on Thursday, December 22, 2011. She was born in Paterson, NJ and moved to Fair Lawn, NJ when she was 4 years old. She graduated from Eastside High School, Paterson, NJ in 1943. She was an administrative assistant in the Design Engineering Department of Rayco Auto Seat Covers in Paterson, NJ. She liked her job and enjoyed flying on business trips to their manufacturing plant in Pawtucket, RI.
Dorothy loved doing crafts and her greatest joy was giving her work to friends and relatives.
Dorothy was predeceased by her daughter, Debra Lynn; her mother and father, Annie and Nicholas Roper; her brother, Herbert Roper of Florida and her very dear friend, Lee Valeri of Edison, NJ. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Chester J. Kobylus; her two sons, Kenneth of Brick, NJ and Barry of Mount Laurel, NJ; her daughter, Karen of San Marcos, TX and two grandsons, Benjamin and Nathan of Texas.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron Cremation Associates, Inc., Whiting.
