Edith Brunelli, 87, of Whiting, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at Bartley Health Care Center in Jackson. Born in Middletown, NY, she lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Whiting in 1979. She was a salesperson at Charles Shoppe, Brooklyn, NY for 20 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Pine Cone Lodge of Pine Ridge and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas L. in 1999. She is survived by one son, Leonard Brunelli; one daughter, Joan Lupo; four grandsons; four great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 and from 10 to 10:45 a.m., Tuesday morning at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 11 a.m., Tuesday at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
