Edward Peter Jensen Jr., 86, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Edward was born and raised in Rahway, NJ. He and his wife, Florence moved to Whiting in 1996. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. Edward loved to chat and fish. He was predeceased by wife, Florence Jensen in 2018. He is survived by his former wife, Georgette Jensen who resides in Toms River, NJ. They have three children, Donna (Jensen) Zbranak and husband, Charles of Beachwood, NJ, Douglas Jensen Sr. and wife, Dee of Palm Coast, Florida and Dwayne Jensen of Keasbey, NJ; three step-children, Linda Bielski of Freehold, NJ, Robert Silvers of Michigan and Betty Churchill of Florida; he is also survived by his brother Daniel Jensen and wife Janice of Edison, Mary Jensen, Whting and John Jensen Sr of Mayslanding. He has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 12 noon at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
