Edward John Lynch, 97, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, March 08, 2011. Edward was born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ. He also lived in Roseland, and Ship Bottom before moving to Whiting in 1983. He was a postal clerk for the US Postal Service in Bloomfield for 30 years. He was a member of the Bravo Battlefield Restoration and Archaeological Volunteer Organization, Freehold and was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
Edward was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy in 2007. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Glenda Lynch of Mantoloking, Edward and Adeline Lynch of Silverton and Thomas and Cathy Lynch of Barnegat; one sister, Marie Forden of Florida; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, March 10th and from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, March 11th, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Interment will be at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.
