Edward P. Riches, 87, of Hightstown, NJ, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Hightstown for 35 years. Edward was an electrical engineer. He worked for RCA in Princeton, NJ. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He had a great sense of humor and was very sentimental. Edward was an avid photographer, skier, fisherman and roller skater. He was a theater set constructionist for the Pennington Players and Pierrot Productions. Edward loved music and played the guitar. He loved to travel. He loved animals, especially birds. He was a member of the Democratic Majority for the People. Edward is survived by three children, Craig Riches and his wife, Cheryl of Alabama, Danny Riches and his wife, Yelena of Florida and Erika Riches and her partner, Rich of Lakehurst, NJ; eight grandchildren, Leo, Daniel, Jr., Noah, Raven, Devon, Sky, Tanner and Ricky; one cousin, Helyn Marie and numerous friends and neighbors.
