Edwina M. Naclerio, 83, of Whiting passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at home. Born in the Pinewald section of Berkeley Township, she grew up in Barnegat and as a military wife, lived in Virginia, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, California and Alaska before settling in Whiting.

Edwina began her career working in a sewing factory, but was primarily a homemaker and mother. She was an active member of the Forked River Baptist Church, and took pride in being instrumental in creating the costumes for their "Night in Bethlehem" Program. She enjoyed sharing her faith, traveling, and sewing, but her greatest joy was in spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank. She is survived by her children, Victoria Spillane and her husband James of Little Egg Harbor, and Audrey Shumaker and her husband Bradley of Mullica Hill; her grandchildren, Zoey Victoria Burch and her husband Ryan, Emma Houck and her husband Joseph, Bethany Shumaker, Abigail Shumaker and her fiancé Finn Wengerd, and Ethan Shumaker; her great-grandchildren, Lewis, Caroline, Grant and Laurel Houck; and her brother, Melvin Peters of Barnegat.

Cremation was private under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Memorial Service celebrating Edwina's life will be held at the Forked River Baptist Church, 21 Haines Street, Forked River on Saturday, January 3, 2025 at 2pm. Those joining the celebration are encouraged to wear Edwina's favorite color pink, or something shimmery-sparkly, to reflect her joy for life.

In lie of flowers, contributions in Edwina's memory can be made to the Forked River Baptist Church.
